The shake of Vicare's head was enough of a confirmation that Ara and Karril were not the wolves he was looking for. He never knew though- the companions he was seeking may make an appearance somewhere down the line. Saul was almost never one to mark something as a lost cause- he'd been proven wrong so many times. Siku's various disappearances had broken his young heart, but she'd returned as many times as she'd gone. Of course, now he realised that the first crush he'd had had not been love. Siku had broken his heart when he'd followed after her and he was cautious about allowing it to happen again. The fact that Vicare had lost his mate was heartbreaking in itself- Lilin was certainly his whole life.
His attention was drawn back as the male began speaking and Saul was pleased with what he heard. It was good to have strong pack members- they might not condone violence, but there would be a time when violence came to their door. His thoughts turned briefly to the warning Miskunn had given- they would soon come to blows with the Dawnrunners once more. The latter skill that Vicare provided caused a smile on the young mans face. Those who knew how to entertain were definitely valuable members- they could relieve tension in stressful situations, bring members closer together. It was good to know these strengths so that he could use them well. He nodded softly, an approving notion.
