The male laid sprawled out over the length of the bed on his stomach. He doodled away on an aged and dirty notebook, the designs were nothing in particular just the urge to draw, he really wasn’t very good at it. The sound of a call made its way past and into his den, ultimately tearing his attention away from what he was doing. The Marbas knew that call pretty well now, Sam! Jumping off the bed he knocked everything to the floor, pencils, paper and furs. Shifting into Secui form he sprinted toward the call as fast as he could, hopeful not to bump into anyone on the way by, because he would knock them off their feet. He panted heavily as his heart beat the inside wall of his chest. What was his hurry? The mutt wasn’t a leader or top of his tier; he didn’t have the ability to accept any canines into Anathema. It didn’t matterthough, if he only got the chance to say hello to her before a leader’s appearance he wanted to be there first.
It seemed like it had only been minutes before the ivory woman was in his sights. The hybrid slowed down enough to shift back into optime and try to catch his breath. Stopping short by a couple feet he made sure not to run right into her. The male had to get his breathing under control before he could say anything to her otherwise he’d choke on thin air. Haaa, haaa, Sam. He was kind of shocked that she had been back so soon, figuring it would be longer than this till she had things sorted out. His heart rate was almost back to normality, he gazed at her intently. Sam said she would return, and here she was standing before him. His eyes grew earnest with her, looking at her it was clear that something had been wrong; her aura just felt distraught. Sam? Everything okay? He didn’t know the feelings she was dealing with. He was her friend, he was here and if he could he would do whatever it would take to help her.
