He was happy. Things were going great for the man. He had just gotten Zalen’s blessing to pursue Palaydrian as a mate, and that was what the young man was going to do. He had set her up with some breakfast and extra food for later that day telling her he was going out. And that’s what he was doing, though he didn’t want to be without her, he knew the scent coming off her would soon be too much to bear and he wanted to get her something nice. Something memorable, something she didn’t have to worry about. He knew it wouldn’t be big nor a decoration that would displease the alphas so he was thinking something for Drin to put on herself.
He was daydreaming the whole time he was walking. He knew he wouldn’t find much at the smaller towns so he was headed to Amherst the closest city to his home. He promised himself he wouldn’t bring anything he didn’t need really, which was a special present for his love. He moved around the outskirts of the city, he had been to the parts that was closest to New Dawn and he wanted something new.
It seemed his decision was a good one because he caught sight of someone in the distance and meeting new faces was always good for him. He stopped where he was and started waving calling out, a curled wagging tail and a smile on his face. He was stupid when it came to new comers, he knew perfectly well he could be attacked but there was a better chance of meeting someone nice enough to converce with. Jiva wanted to make new friends and the fact he was closing in on at the city was all the reason to meet the man.
