Isa was so close to the Casa borders and could hardly wait to get home. She had missed Hadley, Cadmeia, Adelle, and the others, even though she was really only gone a week. She had a noticeable belly, with Hadley’s pups slowly growing inside her. A smile crossed her face as her hand went to her belly, both excited and nervous for their arrival. She brought the horses to a stop when she heard something. It sounded like someone calling for help but she couldn’t be sure, and since Isa isn’t the type to just turn her back on someone in need, She stopped the horses and went looking for the sound.
She came across a young fox kit, couldn’t be any older than six months. He was a cute little thing, white fur with a bit of grey on his head and back and pretty light blue eyes. He also had his foot caught in between two rocks. It seemed like that leg was broken, more than likely from struggling to get free. Isa calmed down the kit and was able to get his foot free. She took him back to the wagon and splinted his leg. The two talked for a little while he ate and Isa ended up taking him in as her own, adopting another kit. At least Cadmeia wouldn’t feel so alone around all the wolves. The two traveled back to Casa together and when they arrived, Isa realized he had fallen asleep on her lap. Not wanting to wake him, Isa gently picked him up and waited for Hadley, knowing it wouldn’t be long until he showed up. She could introduce him to Kade, the young fox, and his new horse. She would let him choose if he wanted the male or the female though. The all black male would go to Adelle though.
