(437) meh I mega suck. Feel free to wrap this thread up soon cause I am as literate as a drunk monkey.

Head bowed, she waited for the tawny hybrid to pass her judgement. It felt strange that she wanted to appease Vesper when she barely knew her, and could only guess because she viewed her as the embodiment of Inferni. Was this not the first member she has came across since leaving the clan? She would have remembered if not. Perhaps she was not apologizing to the woman, but to the scent she wore, the idea she stood for. Maybe this was the only closure she could seek from Infeni; doubt began to crawl in her mind that everyone she once knew no longer haunted the borders.

She felt her pointed gaze, but did not rise to see the sharp grin upon her face. It was when she spoke did Alyssum had the impulse to look up and gauge her face. At first, she wondered if Ves was trying to be sarcastic--such were the type of the coyotes she expeierenced--but decided she was being sincere. She accepted her words with a coy silence, nodding her thanks when words failed her. Would she had truly been welcomed back? The thought of Halo with her twin swords and edged anger at her return disturbed her. Even aged Kesho had shown his skills and taught her a few himself, and doubted that the scarf she had gifted him long ago would stop him from stomping her to the ground if he had wanted to.

She was pulled from her thoughts as Vesper pointed out what was true. Yes, Lykois came and went like the seasons, but she was no Lykoi, either. And the earthen woman smiled, crooked and twisted and holding broken humor. So she was judged. But, she felt like a sinner deserving of some form of retribuation. But, it was small, a misgiving thought, and she momentarily thought of Vesper as soft--not necessarily a bad thing, not at all. But would a different member be as forgiving to a stranger that scorned their clan during a time when they were not around? She found some sort of strange amusement within it.

Her grin became more friendly when the mention of having another like the clan to be spoken for. Yes, she supposed she could do that much, a small token to show that she still cared for the clan and would not be betraying the one she belonged to now. Soon both fell quiet, and after musing their conversation, she had also remembered their previous talk. "You know, the low speech is still on the table. Think of it as a piece of goodwill for Inferni and her future."
