It was a quiet morning that Temo woke up too, but he knew that the quiet would not last long. He would be heading off to a neighboring pack's land to participate in a party in celebration to the two packs in finalizing a treaty. He was nervous about the trip and meeting others in a different pack especially when he had met only a few from the pack he now calls home.
A trip to his shop to finish the set of carving chisels that he had cleaned up, sharpened, and made new handles for. A wiping down of the metal with a bear grease covered rag to help keep the moisture away from the metal to prevent rusting, he carefully laid them onto a square of soft leather and rolled them up and a couple of leather thongs to tie the ends kept the tools from sliding out.
A short expedition to a near by creek found much splashing as Temo was having a bath in the cold water as he spent a good amount of time scrubbing the dust and wood powder from deep within his thick fur. A good brushing to smooth the hairs down and make them shine and a quick buffing of his claws, he felt that he was presentable for such a party that was to take place.
With Jace at his side, as they entered into the party area, gifts in one hand and each other in the other, he smiled in response to her smile, for a moment, his nervousness forgotten. The speach that came fourth from Jazper's lips was spirit lifting but did nothing to dispel the nervousness that Temo kept bottled inside. With a glace around them, he sees everyone that had already showed before them and wondered where they should put the gifts.
