Thana had been allowed to stay in Casa until her sister’s pups were born. Her and her adopted daughter, Anna, stayed in Isa’s room and just slept on the floor for the past few nights. She had no idea about the ball Casa di Cavalieri was having and had assumed her and Anna would not be attending, but Isa had spoken with Jazper and he had agreed to allow them to attend as well. Thana got Anna ready first, brushing through her wavy hair and putting her in a pretty little white dress and tied a black ribbon around her waist. She looked absolutely adorable.
Thana didn’t do much to make herself look nice. She didn’t see a point since she would never look beautiful with the scars on her face. She just brushed the knots out of her long hair and let it hang freely. There wasn’t much else she needed to do since she didn’t wear clothes. Finished preparing, the two headed into the hall and looked around at all the other who were already there. Thana knew the two of them didn’t fit in but they had been invited and she knew Anna would love to dance and meet some others her age. Isa was in the crowd, talking to Hadley for a bit before leaving, no doubt feeling nauseous. Thana and Anna simply stood off to the side, not wanting to get in everyone’s way.
