Many of her pack mates and old friends dance on the ballroom floor, much better than she could do. Her mind wandered throughout the night, meeting new people and some even were in her pack. Like that woman named Clara, she was so short compared to Juliet’s height. A contribute from her father’s side. She was a coyote mix, short hair and a shy personality and yet she could still dance with confidence. It made Juliet wonder, how was it that everyone seemed to be so comfortable around those they did not know.
More music distracted her thought, making her focus on the melody before her. It was catchy, something that seemed to be making her right foot tap lightly to keep up with it. A soft expression twinkled in her eyes as she turned to look around the ballroom, indigo eyes landing on a form she was happy to see. Again her expression softened but this time with an affection that had grown in her heart, an emotion only named as love.
Her body moved to meet him, her tail aged for a short amount of time to show a slightly amount of excitement. Her hand traveled up his shoulder, only to fall back down and grab his hand. She looked up as he turned to face her, her eyes dancing with a request, a demand for him to dance with her. ”Come dance with me Lorenzo.” Her monotone voice came out, her body pulling at his hand as she inched him closer and closer to where others were moving. She wanted to be like the others, she wanted to dance with the one she cared for. Whether she was good at this or not.
