The girl watched as the ceremony her Fiancé called The Oath, before this she had to spend a night apart from him. Something she found rather hard and unnecessary but he told her it was something he had to do. Once more her gaze moved to the large male beside her, his dark fur no longer something to fear but to welcome as her family. Her eyes followed whoever was talking at the time, staying quiet and still. Questions bounced off the walls in her head, wanting to be asked but she knew better than to speak at this time. Instead she would ask Lorenzo later, ask him once he has got some sleep.
When a sword came into play, the girl could not help but shiver at its sight. She never liked weapons but she knew how necessary they were now, now that she experienced something that proved they were worth something. Words fluttered through her ears as the oath continued, the look in her companion’s eyes made her curious of his feelings. Curious of what was so important the night before, having to find a stone and spend the night in the stars.
Lorenzo started his oath and her eyes flew to his fathered in a quick reassurance than back at him. Love showing in her eyes with the confusion of how this was all important, but not once did she speak. Instead she was the Sole’s silent shadow, watching everything around them. Soaking up every word spoken.
