The woman came closer, and Andara watched her warily, bright lilacs focusing on every movement. The woman moved gently, though, and the brightly colored fabric that covered her bi-colored body caught Andy's interest. It flowed gracefully with her body, and clung nicely to her curves. But when the stranger moved to kneel, the thin girl shifted a few inches away, unsure and distrusting.
The question that fell on her ears was one she'd heard before. She let her pale purple gaze meet the stranger's, but then she was looking away again, and down. "Yes," she admitted, knowing it would do her no good to lie about it. Andy knew it was probably obvious from her matted hair and dirty clothes, but her overly thin frame didn't help, either. This woman offered food and shelter. More than once, Andara had been invited similarly, and often, she'd accepted. A full belly and a decent bit of rest did wonders for her. She never stayed, though, not wanting to impose on the loners or small families that had taken her in. Andy wondered what this lady's "family" was like. She hesitated, watching her stone-faced, before answering."I... that might be nice," she conceded, "but... who's your family? Who are you?" Maybe there's a pack nearby after all.
