[/html]Even though Mido didn't seem too pleased about her request, he ended up conceding. It didn't strike her as odd since that was what he was supposed to do. If they hunted in two totally different ways, it wouldn't work out at all. They had to work together if they wanted to score more than one puny hare. Besides, she was hoping that they'd find something better to eat, but she doubted it, as the mountain was getting steeper and the only animals that lived here in great numbers were the hares. So, when Mido shot her an annoyed look full of all sorts of other emotions, she shrugged in response. She was right and he was wrong. That was just how the world worked.[/html]
He put his knives away and then took off his leaves. She watched as he peeled them off and then set them down. Aha! He did have fur! Therefore they were totally unnecessary. He really was a weirdo. She watched him unabashedly as he shifted into his lupus form, justifying it in her mind as 'watching out for him.' After all, if he was shifting, she was the one who would have to defend him.
Once he was done, he gave her another one of his looks. Wraith smirked.
"Yes!" she replied, "much better. You'd be less hungry if you'd just taken off your leaves and shifted, but whatever, weirdo," she replied. Her grin was wicked now, full of mirth and teasing. She trotted off to find the hare that had escaped while he had been shifting. She perked up her ears and tested the wind, following it away from Mido and his weapons and down the mountain. [html]
