Mido’s rump was situated on the ground, the claws of his front paws dug into the earth’s surface. The male was a little bit top heavy in this form due to his body’s genetics. Wraith seemed easier going since his shift. She made a crack about his ‘”leaves” and being hungry, displaying a playful grin before following the trail of a rabbit. The coyote woman made her way down the slope after her prey. He opted to take a route that was elevated from the rest of the area. He could clearly see her and her target through the trees as he moved. His attention was diverted from the female when he noticed the unusual movement of several hares. From what he could see they were loitering around a hole into their residence.
He’d gotten lucky and located their den. Low to the ground he slinked to a downed tree. Putting himself in position he got ready to chase them down. He focused hard enough that he could probably here a drop of water. The male’s eyes were dilated, giving him a very crazy questionable appearance. Unable to wait any longer he scrambled over the wood and after the group of critters. They noticed him and darted for their place of safety. Three of them made it all the way into the hole. The last of the critters wasn’t so fortunate, the warriors head slipped into the opening, he caught it by the leg. The hare tried to escape as it was dragged into the open, fear flooding its eyes. Mido held it down with a massive paw; its efforts were futile as he chomped down on the neck. Shaking it viciously he growled, putting his whole body into it he successfully snapped the neck. Leaving the limp body he went to try and drive out the rest of them. Forcing his head deep into the darkness he barked like a wild blood thirsty beast. Two of the remaining hares abandoned the den out a another hole, the mutt rushed after them in Wraith’s direction. Heads up!
