Vesper is by Sie!

Her mind still whirled with thoughts, but Vesper was silent as she trailed beside and slightly behind the mahogany-haired woman. It was a strange progression, far different from the strolls she would have liked to take with her, but in her heart she knew this would work out. Her paw pads itched as they emerged into the gardens of the mansion, but she carried herself with the posture expected of a second-in-command. That, at least, had not changed.

Myrika touched the bench then gave Ves a look, one she returned with a sardonic grin softened around the edges, showing her support. And then the she-yote called, and the Centurion briefly considered joining her voice to hers to drive home the authority—but she would not. This would be her first summoning as Aquila, and she would not take that away from her. As much as she wanted to be at Myri’s side assisting her through everything, she understood the strength of independence and how dangerous it was to not be able to break free.

And speaking of that, one of the first Infernians coming into the D’Neville garden (besides the already-present Ithiel and Kaena) was her sister. She caught the questioning glance and could only offer Sparrow a hint of a smile to show that, while it could be argued that something was amiss, everything would be okay. She even began to step forward toward the gathering crowd, returning Helotes’ greeting nudge and inhaling the scent of his children and mate clinging lightly to his dusky pelt.

Then she circled around again, heading back toward the bench and taking her usual seat. Vesper’s pale blue eyes sought Myrika’s for a moment, and then she faced their clan.
