The smoke-furred hybrid stood beside his grandmother, not far from Myrika and Vesper. Though he looked toward both of them, his eyes wandered to gaze at the incoming Infernians. He nodded toward those he recognized, gazed thoughtfully toward those he did not, and otherwise remained silent. His eyes lingered on Alma as she entered, and he offered her a smile and a nod.
His dark-furred cousin slid into the meeting area and sidled up beside him, whispering to Kaena about what was happening. The old woman remained steadfast in her silence about the events that had taken place, and only told Sepirah to wait. The scarred canine soon tugged on Ithiel's arm and asked him to guide her to a seat; the dust-furred hybrid obliged, bringing her a bit closer to the chairs and settling her down to the ground. He stood again thereafter, though he remained hovering over the old hybrid's shoulder.
Though Ithiel knew what had occurred, the dingy-furred hybrid saw confusion on many faces. He glanced toward Myrika, who was waiting for the rest to arrive. She did not seem particularly anxious to Ithiel, but he supposed it was there, all the same. Ithiel had guessed -- not entirely on his own -- what Ezekiel planned for her. It was the old woman who'd figured more of it than him, though Ithiel had provided some of the puzzle's pieces. Were it not for Kaena, Ithiel certainly wouldn't have known. Zeke hadn't said anything to his half-brother -- which did not surprise or hurt Ithiel. Though they shared a father, their connection otherwise was thin.
