Searching for a friend

Laughter echoed through the woods, his ears flattening with embarrassment. It had to be a rather ridiculous sight, a predator being carried off by his prey. Not that he would ever eat Blessing. He held on the best he could for the bumpy movement, ducking as branches and the like came into view. Blessing chose a fairly clear route, but he was taller than the horse, and still had to duck to avoid some of the higher up items. Blessing snorted as the other horse came into view, eying her suspiciously.

Hadley closed his eyes as he watched Adriana come up, feeling a tad humiliated. He wished she hadn't seen that. A red flush ran through his skin, darkening his features. The calling sounds didn't mean much to him, but soon enough Blessing had halted in her travels, standing still and munching on a nearby bush instead. Opening his eyes he let out a breath of air, shaking his head. It shouldn't have happened. Maybe Wayne could give him some lessons.
