Small big cats, or big small cats?

Rolling over she curled herself around the lynx, Omitl's small form wrapped up smugly against the midnight girls stomach as the pair napped in the sun within the garden that she herself had cleared; it was one of the few places starting to look remotely reasonable, Hael having started clearing out and working on reinforcing the house by himself, deeming her too useless to aid him in anyway. Not that she was going to complain about a free pass in having to do work, although the lack of an agemate or friend within the pack left her little else to do aside from laze around in the enclosed garden with Omi.

Scattered around her with various weights upon them lay the girls sketches, having begun work on mapping out the village, Jordheim as it was apparently named, so that there was at least a beneficial task for her to do if and when she felt compelled to do something. Reaching out from her position on the ground she plucked one of the sketches up, bringing it close to her face whilst keeping herself still as not to wake Omi, the female lynx was just as irritable as her master when awoken.

Observing the lines that she had roughly scribbled down she compared them to her memory, instantly pick up faults in the map in the centre most area of which she had spent the least time in. Pushing of the ground lightly she tucked the paper into her pocket, caring little if it got crumpled in the process before bending down and scooping up the limp form of a sleep Omi. “You wanna come with me and do so more map work?” she asked, running her hand over the cats head briefly for placing her back down, watching with obvious amusement as the lynx stretched out and glared up to the darker girl but made no attempt to leave, of which she took as the felines consent.

“Hael, i'm heading out” she called, quickly making her way through the house she shared with the brindle hybrid and out the door, picking up her bag of drawing equipment in the process, Omi trailing behind her. Once outside she stepped onto the main trail, pausing as unfamiliar scents reached her, vibrant eyes seeking out the source of the scent. “Hello?” her voice was soft, one she used with everyone not close to her.
