Small big cats, or big small cats?

Intently she listened to the males opinion regarding the map; although she could see and memorise the general layout of the place she was still but a beginner in that art of map drawing, a diligent student who pushed her limits, yes, but new regardless. If she were to draw a portrait or replicate a landscape she has seen fairly recently then the grey scale D'Angelo would easily produce pieces of work in which she was both happy with and proud of.. map drawing on the other hand required her too look at things differently, most obviously she was drawing from above, a birds eye view as it was so named. Distances, shapes, ways of laying things out upon the paper she worked was different from the artistic styles and practices she had tried thus far, the challenge keeping her interested and the skill useful more so then her other lack of talents.

Nodding as the male finished she sat herself down cross legged, bag thumping down upon the ground lightly to her side. Reaching in she pulled out a neatly bound large sheet of paper, rolling it out and placing weights to hold it in place, then repeating the same for her crumbled draft, only locating it just off to the side. Keeping in mind the males suggestions she rank her hand over the paper in confident, heavy strokes, producing lighter lines of which she then darkened when satisfied at them, all the while green eyes flicking up from the paper to the area in which she was drawing before returning to the white sheet. It didn't take long to roughly get it lined in, leaning back she inclined her head for the male to see. “Something like this?” she asked, smiling up to the male.

With her map work started, the girl allowed for her attention to wonder for a moment, a tooth grin settling upon her rounded face as she spotted the two cats just a ways off. “They seem to be getting along; rare for Omi to take to anyone other then me and Hael” and my mum, she thought the last bit only to herself within the smallest part of her mind.
