Word Count :: 376 Forward Dated: 2nd July Grace and construction = bad combination. Safe to assume her door was open or at least unlocked Smile

Clearing out the contents of her small house, the golden librarian had a large and quickly growing collection of wood situated off to the side of the main living room of which made up the majority of the woman’s new home; from her novice judgement the wood seemed good enough to re-use and with the small room just off the side of her own bedroom she had intended to start constructing some bookshelves to be able to start unpacking her mass of books and begin adding to and working upon her own personal collection as well as sorting out materials for the pack. Aside from simple shelves she also needed work space where she would be able to clean, repair and maintain books of her own and the packs, the equipment to do so she already had... she just lacked the relevant furniture.

With such matters in mind she had quickly thrown herself into the task of carrying wood into the room and balancing it up against the largest wall, aiming to create a skeletal structure so that she could see it before actually going about constructing it; to the side, the small window that filtered light into the room was open, showing the trees located to the left side of her home. Running around across the floor Turnip and Jason were doing their up-most best to get under foot and make a nuisance of themselves, but working around them she placed the last of the planks upon her unstable structure and stepped back to observe it, taking in the remaining space she had if she went with that particular style shelving and calculating how many books she would be able to store nicely there.

Then one of the pheasants hit the structure, the wooden pile swaying for a moment and the result was clearly inevitable. With an audible groan she quickly exited the room, “Dammit, TURNIP! JASON!” she shouted at the birds, growing in frustration at them as the wood fell loudly to the floor, the sound created from the collision caused russet ears to flick back, the librarian flinching as she watched her work fall to pieces, although at least she had achieved what she had set out to do in the first place.
