His arm gently tightened up a bit around her waist holding her firmly to him not only to giver her support as they proceeded to dance, but to hold her as close to himself as her swelling belly would allow. He knew the little lives within her were delicate so he was careful not to hold her too tight and squish them. After all, he was just as excited about the new litter as he was when the last litter was on the way.
This was the moments that he enjoyed, when it was only Jace and him, together with no worries or other distractions of life to get in between them. And there was many distractions these days with raising a family and other duties that need dealing with that made these moments far and few between. And with the new litter, it seems that the moments will continue to be few and far between.
