Medusa strolled along, carefully outside the borders of the pack she and Ksenija were scouting out, as it were. She was in her lupus form, as opposed to her more comfortable lycanthrope form that day. It seemed like a natural choice, for some reason. She trotted along the borders, amazed that she could look ten feet and be seeing a tree in a completely different land, when there was no distinct visual barrier. There was a scent, yes, but absolutely no visual indication saying 'You're about to enter a new land. Watch out and be respectful'. Medusa chuffed lightly. A warning like that would have been especially nice before the bitch from that artsy-fartsy merchant pack yelled at her for trying to protect her. It wasn't Medusa's fault she came from a different type of land than that.
She kept moving along at a steady pace and turned around every now and then, debating going back to Ksenija and her snakes, neither of whom were with her. The woman whined softly at those moments of indecision, ultimately deciding to continue on. A more noble endeavor she'd never known, except to maybe keep her snakes safe from marauding eagles. She sent a fearful glance up then, tail slipping briefly between her legs as she crouched down in fear. Shaking out her fur, Medusa let herself continue on until she got rather hot in the sun.
Deciding that a tree's shade was absolutely perfect to rest in, she circled once, twice, three, four, five, six, as many times as it took to make the spot absolutely completely comfortable. She stopped twice to nose twigs out of the way and then circled again. Once she was sure it was perfect, the golden woman flopped unceremoniously down onto the circle she'd tramped. Medusa rolled around in the grass and the dirt and sighed happily. Laying on her back with her limbs splayed, her tongue lolled out as she relaxed in the most canine way possible.
