Patrolling was more something the stormy male did than anything Alex would find himself doing. Which was part of the reason why he was off at the borders. Looking for Alaki, and hoping that he could convince him to take off for a short time and just do something lazy. Swim in the ocean, hang out in the room. Alex was in the middle of a particularly erotic fantasy when he realized that the crows were making a racket.
