Levent and Wilson are by me!

Levent was leaping out of the boat almost before it touched solid ground, falling immediately to his knees and praying fervently. His claws raked through the soil, his fingers tightening in the grass as if it were his lover’s hair, and he went as far as to press his face against the earth with a whimper. It was undoubtedly funny—and pathetically sad at the same time. He looked like a wolf that’d been lost at sea for years rather than on a trip for most of the day.

After making sure the kittens were being handled, Wilson plopped down next to him and purred loudly in amusement. His ears flicked back when he saw the dark she-wolf sketching in their direction, but he was in too good spirits to snap at her about partaking in the fun. His tail kinked, and he licked Levent on the cheek before nudging him back to his feet.

Okay, come here, babies! the wolf said, his voice still thick with emotion. He staggered toward the rowboat and was handed the kittens; Wilson did his part by grasping one by the scruff. They marched quickly over to where the camp would be; others were already unloading the few smallish crates they’d brought, as well as at least one tent. Çocuk koruyun, arkadaş, he ordered Wilson, and flashed Dalgina a grin as he looked up at her.

Want to help with these boxes? he asked, gesturing to the small crates of art supplies they’d brought. It would be something for her to do; she looked lost right now. Just move them over there, and ask exactly where they need to go; I dunno, because I wasn’t paying attention.

Cheerily, Levent went stomping elsewhere.
