He wondered if he had something caught in his fur maybe the beeswax that he used earlier that day stuck somewhere other than the mohawk he had shaped. He blinked and was about to ask the stranger again when she said sorry and shook her head. His own head drooped and his tail did too, and he wasn’t sure what to do now.
“Well ok, I’m sorry that I bothered you, I’ll be going now.”
Jiva said. The way she was looking at him and her utter silence confused him. Most people had something to say be it insult or something welcoming she was neither and it seemed she did not want his company so he turned and began walking away, his mind on his mate again, not thinking about the stranger, but what happened to Palaydrian. How long was she going to be gone when should she be back? He was not sure but that was all he could think about at the moment.
