He had never seen anything so monstrously big in his entire life. It rivaled the Halcyon mountains of Ichika and yet it was apparently different from their natural beauty. This was not an art form in his eye's view, this was destruction of the worst kind and he felt a well of hatred for man and his desire to conquer everything about him. Unlike his mother, he felt no awe of this place, only a dismayed devastation. Although nature was taking back its land the mindless disregard still plagued the life here. A solid black substance covered wide swaths of land where tress and plants would have grown, the pale grey edgings hard against his paws.
His muzzle was scrunched up in disgust as her strode besides his father looking for this place where books were kept, that he understood the humans had called a Library. His eyes slid over shops and buildings with words he couldn't decipher, he recognised some but not many to give him a clue. Although like his mother so long ago before him, the high rise buildings and pure menacing vibe of this place creeped him out enormously. Living in Ichika it had been easy to fool himself that the human world around him was fake and in Cercatori it was almost totally reclaimed by the wilderness, but here, this place was somewhere for demons to roam and torment.
In response to his dark, restless thoughts the shadows that followed quivered with delight and bounced about with excitment. They were always trying to pull him down, drag him into the darkness, he refused to go, he clung to the light as best he could. He frowned, wondering if Temo did indeed know the way, he turned his head looking down at his now smaller sire,
