Rats were not at the top of the list of his favorite sources of meat, but they were still good and tasty, especially for when the stomach was empty and one was in need of a quick meal and nourishment. When he finally put the book down unable to read any further due to the advance of the darkness, he made quick work at making the the two rats that Honrin brought him disappear and then he proceeded to clean the blood from the fur around his muzzle and hands.
Just like his son that was now fast asleep near by, he was tired from the trek but was not sleepy. The excitement came to him with the site of the bookcases full of books. He wanted to go through them all right now but it had gotten too dark for even wolf eyes to be able to discern the written words contained between the covers. Temo laid down amongst the books scattered on the floor and thoughts went through his head about tomorrow. About trying to narrow down the number of books to search through. It took a while but Temo finally drifted off into the dark recesses of dream land and sleep.
