When it came to the children, Temo had learned that there are times to ignore something and when he needs to inquire what it was that was bothering them. When he seemed to startle his son and saw his face go deadpan, which was a face that he frequently used, decided that this was one of those times that needed to be allowed to go unnoticed and let Honrin decide if he wanted to talk about it or not. He reached out with a hand and took the book and studied the cover a moment until his son spoke at which point he looked up and gave him his attention.
He pondered a moment considering how to proceed to teaching Honrin more on reading. He made sure all his children at least had learned the basics of reading and he was not surprised that his son could not read as well as himself. He basically got them started on knowing how to read so that they had the opportunity to pursue the subject if they so chose. Sure, he replied glancing at the book in his hand and remembering that they are in a library where there might be what humans called textbooks which were a special type of book for teaching their young. Let us look around, there maybe some books that can help. Human language is confusing to say the least.
