A smirk played on his muzzle as a frustrated paw stomped the ground. His teeth sunk further into her scruff as she thrashed and struggled about. A growl was torn from him with the reckless motion. His eyes narrowed and he held her firmly, squeezing harder to ensure he didn't loose his grip. Any additional ounce of pressure and her flesh would part beneath the pale daggers of his canines. He could almost hear his heart beating in his ears, ticking away the moment until her inevitable surrender. Mate or no this was exhilarating He could stand to be more physical with his mate than he could with Tharin. She would understand that he would never truly hurt her, and his display of dominance wasn't to gain any greater standing within the pack.
The sheer weight of him was enough to make her twist to the ground, half on her side half on her back, and all the while he gripped her scruff. He positioned himself over her, grappling at her scruff and adjusting his grip as he moved to stand directly on top of her, making sure she would not be able to escape him and finally released his grip. Augustus's muzzle moved to hover over her partially exposed throat, teeth bared as if he were about to snap his jaws around her windpipe, but instead he withdrew, pulling his head back as his soundless snarl morphed into a smirk instead. Black dusted tail swayed rigidly arced just a little over his back. He knew he had won, and his sense of triumph built when he saw her ears pinned back to her head, though her tail hadn't tucked. His lips pulled back again and he pressed his snout into her throat, growling.
