Ready to go the Knight listened eagerly to the smaller coymix, making a mental map of what she wanted to do. It was smart to split up the larger members, using half of them for intimidation and pushing while saving the others to push against the herd. He would have to be careful to keep to one of the sides of the herd in order to make sure they didn’t split off to the sides but he was sure they would be able to take down a fair sized buck with their numbers. His ears twitched around, listening to the others conversations as Aly started to sneak away. Taking a step to follow her he stopped momentarily to make sure that everyone else had settled into their duties.
It was then that the final female arrived. Her introduction was shaky but he smiled at her with reassuring eyes. “Why don’t you stick close by Aro. He’ll fill you in.” Using his muzzle to point out his son he crouched down low and followed after the huntress and healer. It surprised him honestly that Hadley had chosen to join them but it was certainly an encouraging sign. Taking to the other side of Aly the large Sole’s golden eyes scanned the herd upwind from them, the scent making his mouth water in anticipation. He remained as still as possible, following Aly’s eyes to find the old stage she had spoken about. In a low whisper he spoke, “Ready when you are boss.” He would follow her lead for now but it would be polite for the Alpha to have the say as to who got the first bite. Perhaps he would see to it that the pelt was removed neatly before wolf jaws spoiled it.
