Terra watched Hotaru relax with envy. She couldn't just curl up and fall asleep like that. The coyote found it impossible to truly get comfortable anymore. Trying Terra kicked out her back legs, stretching as far as she could. The grass tickled her belly, scratching a little. The sand was too hot. She wanted to sneeze. There was an itch behind her ear, one that she wouldn't be able to reach unless she rolled over and rubbed her head against the ground. She stayed quiet, not wanting to bother her friend, but she was fidgeting, paws scuffing against the ground before she finally gave up and laid still in a huff.
Chuckling Terra nodded her head. He won't steal anything that's mine. He probably couldn't even get his teeth on any of it! She hadn't trained herself for nothing. Terra spent a lot of time working on improving her tricks. The practice she did with the magic tricks Caspa had taught her meant that she had improved her sleight of hand even more, comfortable with using her optime form. She still needed to improve, never satisfied with her skill level. Terra wanted to be like Coyote, an impossible goal to reach. What about yours?
