Axelle inhaled suddenly, still keeping the same pose. She wasn’t crying – no never that – but she was stressed. Kai made her stress, and something that he said caught her. Too soon. Yeah, maybe. She let the thought roll around in her head a few times. She knew she was head over heels for Kai for the moment – and if they rushed into things and later down the line, their mateship might not work out as planned. She picked her head up from her hands to look at him, ”You’re right.” Then she pushed herself off of the table and went to stand in front of the mirror.
She was more scarred up than she would have liked – though, the majority of her brighter scars were from current wounds. She was sure that they would fade in time. She watched Kai behind her from the reflection of the mirror, ”We should wait longer.” She was still cold towards him – and she wasn’t pissed off at the fact that he went behind her back and asked Charm for information; no, that would be stupid. She was pissed off for the fact that he snapped at her in front of others. She liked to keep her fights and lovemaking sessions private – others didn’t need to know her business.
Axelle fixed what she could of her hair, letting the black, white, and pink strands fall messily to her shoulders. Her hair was getting longer – she needed to cut it soon again. She needed to find someone to do that for her because the way she did it last time was like a barbarian haircut – chopped off with a knife. She would like to try out a wolf-style haircut, done with scissors. She kept glancing at Kai through the mirror briefly as she pretended to be busy with her hair.
