As Axelle pulled away from him and moved over to the mirror, Kai watched her distance herself from him, and he knew that he had been right, that she was thinking the same thing he was. The mateship ceremony had only been an idea floating around in his head but now it had been confirmed that the pair weren't ready for that, not yet. He knew they would be, at some point, but not yet. He saw Axelle toy with her hair as she watched herself in the mirror, and he saw that every now and again, she glanced over to his reflection. Not once did Malakai take his eyes away from Axelle, letting his gaze simply drink her in, letting him admire her form from all angles helped with the mirror.
Her demeanour seemed to have shifted a little - Axelle no longer seemed sad or upset, but instead simply annoyed at his behaviour. That, he could handle. After a long moment of simply watching her as her fingers toyed with her locks, Kai moved slowly, calm in his approach, as he moved behind Aelle, his larger frame allowing him to look over her shoulder into the mirror with her. His movements were fluid and sultry almost, as his front pressed against her back, still letting his gaze drift over her reflection in the mirror. His hands raised calmly, his fingers taking up the same occupation as hers was doing - playing in her hair, stroking through it. He could feel her form against his given their close proximity, and his eyes continued to watch her, his gaze changing a little, turning a little hungrier as he watched.
"You know, you look hot when you're pissed off." His muzzle broke into a slow, lazy, confident smirk, echoed in his feral eyes. His voice had dropped to barely above a whisper - he didn't need to speak much louder, given how close their forms were. The air felt charged now, at least for him it did.
