Teme Lupus is by Alaine!

The young Stormbringers confidence had been boosted somewhat by his encounter two days ago. He'd wandered a bit further than he'd intended, but he'd made it all the way to a fort, as he'd been informed. The piebald male he'd met there had been interesting to say the least and Temeraire had found he'd quite liked Amaury despite his uniqueness. He'd made his way home unscathed and had resisted the urge to seek Niernan out. He remembered the day he'd answered a call at the borders, his Uncle Niernan's anger and the subsequent telling off he'd received. He'd wanted to rub it in his Uncle's face, just a bit, that he'd ventured outside of Vinátta and he'd returned unmauled and intact.

Instead, he'd gone to visit Hex and Maia, who were getting used to his presence around the stables. He'd thought about telling Eli, but when he'd gone to find him, his russet friend had been hard to find. Needless to say, this experience sparked something in the dark boy that he couldn't sate in Vinátta. There were still things he hadn't explored in his home, but the outside world called to him. It found him scampering out of the pack lands on four legs- he'd finally managed to shift back down into his four legged form the previous evening, after becoming so frustrated that he'd almost slashed through his door. The anger seemed to have shaken his bones apart and he'd tumbled to the floor with four legs instead of two.

He found that his body was bigger than it had been before, although he did recognise that he had a bit more growing to do until he reached his adult size. Mindless thoughts raced through his head as he walked through Amherst, blue eyes watching his surroundings with equal parts curiosity and trepidation. He was still nervous that something bad would happen and decided that being out in the open probably wasn't a great idea. With a quite glance around him, Temeraire scampered forward and into a stone building. He was immediately assaulted with the found of paws on wood and froze in the doorway, only now realising that the place had fresh scents over it.

Hello? He called out, almost snorting at his unoriginal greeting. Of course, he never would have admitted that his stomach was clenching painfully, his heart beating fast in his chest as he waited, hoping he wasn't about to get eaten.
