Vesper is by Sie!

Vesper enjoyed the partnership she had with the raven. She had never been comfortable with thinking of herself as “close” to a bird, but their teasing banter and roughhousing belied the powerful, familial bond between them. It was how the somewhat aloof female best worked.

She thought little of the running through the halls, her teeth snapping short of the dark bird’s tail, his wings nearly buffeting her face. Her white-socked paws thudded softly on the wooden floor until she leaped up, attempting to bring Stark down with her. Instead, he twisted out of her grasp, and she landed ungracefully, still keeping balance.

Her tongue lolled as she peered at the raven, who perched on the back of a chair in the lobby and began to preen. The next instant, a voice from the front door turned her ear around, the rest of her body slowly spinning to follow suit. The voice was young and male, and Ves curiously walked in the direction it came from, ignoring a croak from Stark.

Hello? Vesper echoed back, amusement lightening her tone. She finally came into sight of the doorway, recognizing a dark shape trimmed with white. From this distance, she couldn’t tell if he was larger than her yet; he definitely was growing up, though, and she had no doubt he’d absolutely tower over her when he was finished. None of this bothered her, though, and she wore an amiable enough smirk on her face. Well, hey, kid, she said easily, her dark-tipped tail wagging behind her.
