Saul Chibi is by Requiem!

Lilin had finally moved in and Saul couldn't be more happy. He'd been concerned, however, about her health. The move had been, no doubt, a tiring exercise, but his mate had been exhausted when they'd finally finished carting over her belongings. More to the point, she'd been ravenously hungry, a trait Lilin usually did no possess, or at least hid it well. She was usually a delicate eater, but he'd watched her rip into the meat with avengence. It had made him chuckle at the time, thinking it was good to see her eat, but he'd had time to consider her behaviour and he was worried. He hoped that she was okay, that nothing had happened to her.

His internal worryings had taken him out to the stables, where he'd been spending a bit more time recently. With Mai's absence, Grace had traded her for a kitten he thought, the horses were more relaxed. Artan's absence was hardly acknowledged- it seemed Hermes was more than happy to have his mare back to himself again. The fact that Maia had returned with two foals in tow hadn't phased the stallion, but he acted with indifference to Helexia and Niernan's colt. It was important to get the foals used to Luperci contact, but he didn't think Teme's filly needed it. She already tried to follow his son around, so he supposed that was a good sign that the two had bonded.

Returning to Jordheim satisfied that the horses were doing alright, Saul made a move to start sweeping the living area floor when a series of barks and yips caught his attention. Confusion was his first emotion, before it clicked into place and he leapt out the door. He would recognise that voice anywhere. Racing towards the borders, he thought about his wayward 'daughter'. Wretch had washed up on Dahlia's shores when she was young and Saul had nursed her back to health. After that, she hadn't been confident enough to meet many others and Saul had become a father figure to the girl... or at least she was a daughter to him.

Green eyes spotted a small gathering and he slowed, taking in the scene before him. Ezra was there, his posture easy and friendly. He supposed it wasn't too far fetched that the husky had met his foster daughter at one point. The large dark horse and the wagon were taken in, before green eyes fell on the tall form of someone he would recognise anywhere, despite the once again battered appeared his brother wore. Gideon? Wretch? Oh thank Odin you're safe. He proclaimed, absently thinking that that was the first time he'd ever outwardly thanked one of the Gods Miskunn and Lilin worshipped. He supposed it was fitting however and he rushed forward to embrace his brother and daughter, unsure of which to wrap up first, instead trying an awkward, three way hug.
