Bialy twisted his head to look at the sand bags, understandably confused. He shifted around where he stood, trying to nudge the heavy bags off to no avail. There was a bit of stropping from the stallion, like a naughty child, but with an irritated bray he stopped moving. 'There,' Io said with a smile. 'I told you he would not mind so much'. Bialy's dark eyes regarded Io, understanding he was being spoken of, but why for and what were things he didn't understand nor could he pick up. With a heavy sigh the stallion turned back to the hay bale in front of him, chewing at the tough strands casually.

As you can see here, horses eat hay, but also oats, grass and some fruits. The poultry eat seeds and sometimes bugs, grain and corn'. She gazed around looking for other animals, the pigeons eats insects and grain too, the llamas eat just about anything green, plants, weeds, grasses.
