[/html]Tayui hadn't realized really what she said until Anu looked at her. Anu had always been able to look at her and understand things better than anyone else, but now she realized that Anu was truly understanding the meaning of Tayui's words. Even Tayui hadn't realized what she had been saying. It had seemed so natural to think it, to think that after she had fought for so much, that one more battle would be an easy decision to make if it was for Anu. She was too important and too big a figure in her life now, so she would do it in a heartbeat. It seemed so simple, but Anu's expression made her realize that it wasn't just some small thing that an old friend would do for another. There was more. There was more between them.

Tayui felt her chest flutter as Anu reached and then touched her face. There was so much more between them than just friendship. Now, there was too much space. Tayui shifted closer and inclined her head to meet Anu's so that they were touching nose to nose. She reached out with her own hand that wasn't already holding on to Anu's shoulder and rested it on Anu's neck, twirling circles in Anu's fur with her finger. It felt so right with Anu's hands holding her face, so she wanted to do the same. She wanted more. She planted a quick doggish kiss on Anu's nose and then giggled slightly.
