Dalgina took the simple package from his arms, examining it curiously. What could this be? She didn't open it yet, simply looking up at Honrin as his voice filled the air. Brighter than the moon? Her eyes sparkled with delight as she thought on it. Really? She had once said that, but it had been such a long time ago. She hadn't expected anyone to remember that. Her claws caught on the edge of the paper, and she tore it open, eager to reveal what was inside.
A black cloak tumbled from the package, soft and flexible. It glittered in the candlelight, catching what was there and glistening. Shards of light sparkled across the room, all the colors captured inside a cloak made of the sky. It was beautiful! This is really for me? Dalgina held it up, almost dancing with excitement. Carefully she moved the cloak and wrapped it around her. Spinning she moved across the room, laughing gently. It's beautiful!
