Rainy Day

He smiled too, it was too difficult not to. His long fangs that were not quite hidden by his lips flashed in the candle light as he laughed with her. He would not have bothered so much for anybody else not of his family.
She came to him, her smaller frame wrapping around his own, so slight and lighter than his. She was fragile, a delicate flower to protect, her petals were easily crumpled and destroyed. Honrin picked her up and spun with her, the magnificent cloak swirling around the pair of them like a glittering cover from the world, marveling at how little she weighed and how easily he could keep her airborne.. His tail curled up behind him such joy he felt, the white appendage beat to and fro as he spun with her.

He set her back down on the floor and with all the poise and grace of one born into a royal life the Denahlii son bowed to her regally,

"Princess Moon. I am honored by your presence." He reverted to the language of their ancestors, it was much more befitting the situation than the clunky ungainly english they were forced to speak in with everybody else. Such a inherently emotional display was unusual to come from the normally reserved and quiet boy.
