It's Time

The growl directed at her had the desired effect. Dalgina's ears lowered, upset that she had bothered Taru when all she wanted to do was see the pups be born. She didn't mean to make things even worse with her presence. Dalgina wasn't a pup anymore by normal standards, almost a full year old. Being viewed as an adult was unlikely, unfortunately, especially among older and wiser canines. Diligently she stood up, following Fawkes out of the room in order to grant her friend the privacy she was clearly craving.

The black wolf didn't go far though. The draw to watch was too strong for that. While Tehu chirped about what was happening with the other birds, Dalgina stood just outside of the doorway, wide eyes peering as a tiny form fell out from Taru. It was gross, really, and not something that anyone would want to see. Dalgina was regretting her choice to watch when they began talking. Realizing that the squished up thing that had come out was a puppy Dalgina's tail began to wag. That was amazing! She wanted to come in, but instead she listened as Levent spoke. Pure white. Mouthing the words Dalgina picked up her sketchbook, and began to make a rough drawing of the pale pup, curled up and sleeping under the moon's watchful eyes. She didn't get it done, but she would draw the pup that had been born.
