It's not always so dark

With an agitated snort, Jagga let the young wolfdog know she was being approached, but it was quite a few minutes after that before her sharp eyes could make out the dark figure in their equally as dim surroundings. Her black nostrils twitched, and she eyed the slender female's approach with reserved wariness. In her unseen hand, she gripped the rock she'd used to start the fire, in case she had to fight. Her mistrust heightened when she noticed that there was a snake on the woman's arm.

Hey, she said guardedly, not coming out of her sitting position, if only because she was sure she could properly defend herself just as easily as if she were standing. However, that snake still made her nervous. She'd never gotten close enough to one to have to defend herself against it, and she was well aware of how quick they could be. Jagga had lowered her head again to graze, presently unaffected by the calm Luperci woman or her snake; and Sonje couldn't very well ignore the generally friendly stake that the red-muzzled hybrid had decidedly already taken up, so she decided to be somewhat polite.

She unclenched the rock in her fist, but kept her hand settled comfortably on top of it, "just in case". If Jagga doesn't mind you, I don't, she said, motioning a willowy hand towards the uninterested dapple-gray mare. You're welcome to the fire. Just.. keep that snake back.
