Keldava moved through the woods slowly and carefully, trying her best to keep her torso rigid so she didn’t cause even more pain to her lower back. The wound that Amy had carved there was deep and wide and was healing slowly, the scabs made to cover it constantly cracked by her bodies movement. Really she should have been at home, resting and letting her body heal itself but even injured and depressed Keldava was a restless young Luperci and there was only so much she could take of cooping herself up inside the house.
She hadn’t particularly meant to find her way to Gina – she had simply being wandering randomly through the territory, if anything she was doing her best to avoid company. Still despite her intentions she had found her sister. Keldava was still a fair way off from Gina at the moment, concealed in the woods by shadow and distance.
Part of her urged her to go and meet her sister but Keldava stayed put, ears flat against her skull and one hand steadying her against a tree. Keldava seemed to happy right now, frolicking and playing with her bird. Even if Keldava had been in physical condition to join in Keldava’s games she wasn’t of a mood to do so at the moment. All that Keldava wanted to do at the moment was brood quietly by herself, and she certainly didn’t want to ruin Gina’s good mood with her morose presence.
Common sense then would tell Keldava to turn around back into the woods before Gina but something made her linger for a moment, sad eyes gazing out at her happy sister.
