A prickle on her back let the young wolf know she was being watched. Bolting upright she spun around, looking over the land. Her sudden watchfulness brought Tehu down, perching on Dalgina's head and looking through. He chirped out, telling Dalgina that her sister was there on the edge. Catching her scent Dalgina smiled, tail wagging. She loved being with her sister. Shaking her head so Tehu was forced to fly again she broke out in a trot towards her.
The morose look in Keldava's eyes slowed her down. Tingla? What's wrong? She trotted up, sniffing at the wounds. They were horrible, and Dalgina felt bad that they had happened. She wasn't a fighter like her sister was, she didn't have the strength to stop it. She wished she had still been there. Maybe something could have been done then to stop Keldava from getting so badly hurt.
