[p] red light in the moonlight

The redhead knew the mansion would not stand forever no matter what she did -- but she might still prolong its total deterioration. By the time it fell, too -- maybe Luperci would have developed building techniques of their own capable of constructing things as vast and large as the mansion? Though it was more natural for wolves and coyotes both to roam their territory and den only when birthing and raising puppies, this did not seem to stop the Infernians from dwelling within human structures, herself included. Maybe they would make homes more similar to their own dens -- like Emmanuelle's proposed home. Myrika would have to re-investigate this; though she was an Aquila, she was not above hard labor, and frankly -- the idea interested her.

The creak of the old wood caught her attention, and big ears twitched toward the doorway, glancing toward Sepirah as she slid into the room. Myrika did not know this cousin so well, but she was aware of the strange heritage shared by her and Enkiel. Jackals, they were called, though Myri knew little else about them. Though Sepirah seemed mostly a coyote to Myri, her dark coloration, overlarge ears -- even for a coyote -- and extra slim, small muzzle gave away that exotic hint of her blood. Sepirah, she greeted, smiling.

Would you happen to know anything about carpentry? Or know any carpenters? she pointed toward the sagging steps, and did not bother to indicate every other flaw she saw, but merely spread her point out into a wave of her hand, frowning with exasperation.

Myrika is by Alaine!
