As he retorted the question, she thought back to her pregnancy at the moment. She smiled, chewing the meat, ”Not yet.” She looked at him briefly with the same smile. She turned the attention back on him, however, ”Shame. You would make a good father to a lucky child. Someday.” She didn’t know whether he was planning to make little heirs to his throne, but she wanted him to know that he would be well suited for the position.

Axelle fell silent as she listened to his instructions on how to cook the meat. She nodded here and there and her eyes followed where he pointed to, and she eyed the instruments well. The wooden grill seemed easy enough to find, and leaving it out in the sun - yeah, she could do that. Anathema wasn't full of thieves, and so she wasn't worried about anyone stealing her product. "Sounds easy enough." She would need to pick up these supplies in Halifax, possibly. Or maybe some camping cabin thing somewhere in the woods. She could see that being more plausible.

Axelle shoved the last bit of meat into her mouth; she needed to practice cooking this... She made a mental note of how Alder said to cook it and leave it out in the sun - that way she could attempt it one day. When she was done chewing and swallowed, she asked, ”So how long have you lived in Cour des Miracles?” She might as well remember the name as she was sitting on the territory. And she didn’t even have to sneak to get here. Awesome. There were a few times where she went 'exploring' when she first arrived here, and had to sneak into territories... She didn't do that anymore having learned the hard way of why that was not done often.
