WC: 535. Ayieeee <333! Gen will reply first, then I think after a couple of replies Marie can step in, yes?

She needed to get to the window. She needed to sing.

Nowadays, it took Giselle a tremendous effort to roll her body out of bed. Her belly had swelled considerably, and for some time now she could feel the pups kicking. It was soft, at first, but the movements became more frequent and more painful, all leading the woman to become bed-ridden. The auburn female had no idea how many days she had been lying there, staring outside of her window, longing for the outdoors. Fresh air was a sweet treat when it blew through the open window, and no matter what Giselle was doing in that moment she would close her eyes and breathe in the air when it danced past her face. The world outside her window became more of a treat when a little bluebird had begun frequenting the windowsill, unafraid of Tux's attempt to paw at it after some time, and soon began to sing with the snow-white woman. Songs were few and far between, though the dainty female noticed it would calm the pups in her belly considerably when she sang to them.

That morning, the same bird arrived, but it would be a while before Giselle was comfortable enough to sit up on her furs, another few moments to stand and let the weight from her belly drop into her open palms, and even longer to shuffle across the way towards the window. Everything was an effort, now, and it left Giselle panting. Still, she beamed a smile into the sun when she poked her head out, delighting in the cool breeze. When she opened her eyes, the bluebird was there, hopping almost impatiently. "Hello there, sweet song bird. Would you like to sing today?" The question needed no answer, as the bird took to whistling and the red haired female chimed in.

"After the rain, o/`

The sun will reappear~ o/`

There is life. o/`

After the pain, o/`

The joy will still be here, o/`

There is li-- o/` Ah!"

The petite female's song quickly ended, as she shut her eyes to the sky. Her hands, which had been draped across the windowsill, flew to clutch at her belly. There was an extraordinarily large amount of pain around her abdomen, as if it were ready to burst, and it caused her to scream out loud. Ivory fingertips clutched at her swollen belly for dear life, and then felt a strange dampness near her thighs. Giselle barely opened her eyes - seeing a hot white flash before she did so - to see Tux running out the the room and the bluebird flying away in fear. "N-no... don't... ahh!" Waves of pain came crashing down with a tremendous force, so much so that she was weak in the knees and collapsed just underneath the window from being able to support herself. There was only one thought crossing her mind then, a single shred of hope to cling on to as she lay crumpled on the wooden floor, and with that thought came the one name related to that hope. With seemingly her last burst of energy, she tilted her muzzle towards the doorway and cried out weakly. "Silvano!"
