Giselle had shut her eyes again, taking what small comfort she could from darkness. She was panicky now, feeling helpless and lost. But, oh, the pain made things far worse. It wasn't the usual pain the petite female had been experiencing, when a few soft words and hums would make it - and her worries - vanish. No amount of song or dance could help her now, and she grit her teeth to a contraction that, had she not heard footsteps from the hallway, she could have sworn she blacked out. It took energy to do anything now, even opening her eyes to see Silvano standing there calling out her name. Her vision was blurry, her hearing seemed muddled, and all she could feel was her distress and the shock that followed.
The male had picked her up as gently as he would a flower, but to Giselle it felt like she was being tormented. She felt the furs surrounding her, and suddenly opened her mouth to take in large gulps of air. Powder blue eyes remained open but became squinted instantaneously, unsure of what to do. "H...help... I think... the children..." She spoke between gasps, her hands moving to clutch at the furs instead of her own body. Was this labor? Giselle was not sure. Out of everything she had witnessed and experienced for herself, nothing could have prepared the pale princess for... for this. A scream rushed out of her lips uninvited, but loud for anyone nearby to have heard, pushing her head backwards onto the pillows, red locks flying wildly around her. A part of the auburn female felt embarrassed, especially if anyone were to pass by the room and witness the horrified look upon her face, but something told her that she needed someone - anyone - to help her now.
