Terra was nestled comfortably into the den, looking over her pups. They were only a couple days old, and already growing. It wasn't much, but the wrinkled look they'd come out with was smoothing as they adjusted to the world. Ananse was currently curled up, tail in his mouth as he nestled into her forelegs. Loki on the other hand was busy pushing and shoving, trying to work his way over to her nipples in order to get a drink. Small cries escaped from him, kicking at Ananse on occasion as he tried to move.
Gently she nudged him, and Loki tottered over. He laid there for a moment, huffing, before moving the rest of the way. Terra sighed with contentment, watching them. The paranoia that had plagued her was dried up now. Her senses returned to normal Terra didn't fear as she used to. Her pack was a comforting presence, even as isolated as she was. Terra considered taking her pups to the house she was living in, but decided against it as she liked the place she had chosen. Cleaning out the blood had taken time, but it had been worth it.
