Her head appeared around the side of Light's broad shoulders and strong arms, blumine eyes sparkling from her mutilated face and the stump of her decapitated ear twitched,
"What a courageous boy you must be but make sure to keep yourself safe too, there are monsters that roam these hills. I'd hate for you to come foul of something unpleasant." The longer she spoke, the more of her body revealed itself from behind Light, who moved uneasily but confidently, he could protect her if the whelp turned violent.
