Willam couldn't say that she feared death. She knew already where she was headed should the funeral preparations be correct. As long as her body was burned once life had left it then she knew that she would live in peace for eternity with those whom had been unable to escape la Chemin. Because of that she had no reason to be fearful of her own demise. Actually she would wish for a swift death should she become an invalid rather than having someone care for her. She didn't want to live if she would never be able to care for herself again.
"A war?" She asked, focusing fully on Angel. "Did you lose any?" She had no idea if their struggle had been the same as her own. "At least you still have your home. There is that to be grateful for." It was because her own home had become uninhabitable that she had left la Chemin behind. She didn't really have much of a choice in the matter. If not for that then she would have never left.
At his assessment she looked back to the sky again. "It is lovely. Hopefully it would prove of aide to the righteous." She gave a nod of her head as she spoke. At the sound of the horse's chuffing the female slid from the rock and back into the water so that she could get to the shore where he was to check on the stallion. "It was a pleasure Angel. I'm glad we had this chance to talk." She gave the parting words as she moved around the grotto to find where Châtiment had placed himself so that she could tend to him. She found her horse and saw that he was okay and started to lead him away, figuring that he was just tired of standing about in the same place for so long.
