He had been running for a little while when he stopped and looked around. He had been running on two legs today to get a good work out. And Itzal loved to run, it helped him clear his head and made him feel better. He sighed and rolled his neck to work out some knots that had formed. He looked around some more before he started walking. The streets seemed deserted today, which surprised him. The last few days he had been here he had run into many people. More than he expected. But he was happy to have a day to himself so relax.
He walked around a corner of a street and walked to one of the shop windows. It looked like it had been some sort of doll shop for the humans before they were all wiped out. He cocked his head to the side, not understanding what purpose these creepy little things could possible serve.
Itzal was busy contemplating why humans had made such things and he had no idea that he had walked into Axelle's line of sight. He had no way of telling that someone was waiting for him. There wasn't a sign or sound to tip him off. If there had been Itzal would have known that his good friend was currently sighting him with her crossbow to put a bolt through him.
